This is what a true Bioshock fan has been waiting for, a game where you play in the prime of the great underwater city of Rapture.
This is what Bioshock 2 should of been. The prequel to the first game, showing you the elegant 50's vibe before it was destroyed and corrupted. But now we are all glad it wasn't.
Booker Dewitt is a private investigator, and the trailer really had that crime mystery feel, like straight out of a 50's poster. Like this poster to be exact.

Being Human: From "Great" to "Hate"
SPOILERS AHEAD! DO NOT READ IF YOU PLAN ON WATCHING!
First off, this discussion is about the UK version (also known as the original version) of Being Human. The US version is on Sci-fi, but I have never seen it. So now to the rant.
Being Human is a "supernatural drama" tv show on BBC America that just started its fifth season. This show used to be one of my favorites and now it is complete shit. And I know the exact point that it turned to total crap. But to recap, the show follows three characters. a werewolf named George, A vampire named Mitchell, and a ghost named Annie. In a series of events, they all share an apartment in England. Annie has just died and is trying to cope with being a spirit and figure out why she hasn't passed on to the afterlife, while George is trying to hide his secret with his girlfriend, and Mitchell is trying to stop feeding on the blood of humans, which is very hard for him.
Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are great. The plot gets better and better and some characters are introduced that really make the show unique. It couldn't get any better. But then we get to the end of season three. In the finale, Mitchell is killed. Now the show still had a chance here, they had two main characters still alive and well.
Season 4. What the fuck.
Season four opens with George and Annie, but George's girlfriend has been killed (Because the actress left the show) unexpectedly and George ends up dying in the first episode of season 4. Now we are left with Annie, who I personally feel is the most boring of all three of the original main characters. Now I stopped watching this series from that episode, and I just wiki'ed what happened. By the end of season four, Annie has "passed on" and now zero of the original cast remain. But season 5 has premiered. Why?
What do you think about the "new" being human?? Comment Below!

Dexter Recap; Ep 3: Deb's DUI
Hello everyone (Who am I kidding, no one reads this shit)
I haven't posted since the last Dexter Episode so its been awhile. IF ANYONE READS THIS, I HOPE YOU COMMENT BELOW and tell me how I'm doin'. Now back to recappin'
Episode 3 was kinda crazy. Deb is still crying over her guilt of killing Laguerta, and she drinks and gets herself a DUI. Well almost. Quinn saves her from the charge but Deb don't give a shit, and drinks herself to a confession. She walks into Miami Metro and confesses to Quinn that she killed Laguerta. Quinn doesn't believe drunk Deb, so he calls Dex for help.
Dexter has still been working with Vogul to find the Brain surgeon.

Dexter Recap;Ep 2: Anything can happen...
Little fun fact: Episode Two was directed by Dexter himself, Michael C. Hall.
In episode two, Dr. Vogul reveals to Dexter the tapes of her and his father Harry, who talk about Dexter's interest in killing and blood. Vogul also reveals that she was the one who invented the "code" that dexter uses to cover his tracks. These are all huge things revealed to the audience, but explains Voguls relationship with Dexter. Debra is still searching for the jewelry from her now dead boyfriend , and she finds it, but also runs into El Sappo (<?) the fence who is a hitman. Deb kills him and yeah, that was cool.

Movie Review: Monsters University (and The Blue Umbrella)
Today I'll review Pixar/Disney's Monsters University and the short film before it,The Blue Umbrella.
As always, Pixar has a short film before the beginning of the movie. This one was titled The Blue Umbrella, and it was pretty weird. It was a good weird though. The short takes place on a rainy day in the busy city where (you guessed it) a blue umbrella falls in love with a red umbrella, but they are separated and the blue umbrella must find its way back to her. Mailboxes, rain pipes, and manholes come alive to help the blue umbrella finds its way back to the red one.
It wasn't the most plot driven short that I've seen from Pixar, but the animation was spectacular. Aside from the umbrella's faces(above), you could not tell whether this short was animated or real. Many of the scenes look as if they were filmed in real life. If you are not thrilled by a love story between two umbrellas like me, you'll at least enjoy the stellar animation of The Blue Umbrella
Now to the actual film. Monsters University is Pixars first prequel and they did a great job. This story focuses more on Mike Wasowski, and how he became friends with the hotshot James Sullivan.Without giving anything away, the movie does a great job of showing some of the characters from the first film, and introducing many new characters. It has elements of a typical underdog story and plenty of laughs. The new characters are just as great as the old ones. 8/10

Pacific Rim
This film is the definition of a cashgrab. Like seriously , this movie is about aliens who attack earth (original, right?). These aliens are so large, that we need to make giant fucking robots to defeat them. This robots are controlled be soldiers inside them, and they mimic their movements.

| Can I pee in the suit? |
This is trying to make money from the same people who saw the Transformers movies in theaters. The guys who say "Giant robots and explosions?! To the movies!..."
If you like Transformers and this offended you, please leave the blog. I'm not kidding. I know this movie will make money when It comes out, more money than I will ever make, so all I can do is complain how stupid it is.

Under the Dome = Horrible TV
![]() |
| I'd rather watch IT (yeah that bad) |
[I'm posting this while watching episode two..]
This show is terrible. I can't believe some of the shit they put in this. Let's put aside episode one for a moment, because of the gif below. In fact, I'm gonna write the rest of this way below this horrifying image so you don't have to see it.

Now thats better. This show is why Stephen King should stick to books. Some of the writing in this thing is despicable, especially for the two teenage boy characters, one of which discovers that the dome....is a dome. He uses trigonometry to figure out the curve of the dome. Yes. Thats right. Trig.
![]() |
| I don't need trigonometry to figure out this is a shitty show. |
Other characters include the boy who is so obsessed with a girl that he kidnaps her for talking to a guy at a gas station. Yeah, really interesting . Oh but this show is about a fucking dome. Why do we need murder and kidnap in a show about a dome? Thats all I have to say.

| Yeah, we did it better. |

Dexter returns for its final season
Last night Dexter returned for the first episode of its final season. As someone that has been watching from the beginning , its crazy to think that it will all end in 11 more episodes. Its been an amazing ride.
The first episode starts off a few months after Maria Laguerta's death (the surprise ending of last season). Dexters life has returned to normal l, but Deb's has been turned upside down. Debra is now a private investigator, but has been emotional scarred. Dexter hasn't talked to Deb in two months, but he has more than that to deal with.
As with each new season, a new serial killer and some new characters have been introduced.
What do you think about the first episode? Comment below!

Reviews, favorites lists, and random posts (oh my!)
This is a blog.
Now that that is established, lets get into the finer details. I love movies and video games, and I made this blog to express my opinions on them. Quite frankly, I don't care if you or anyone reads them. Not to be rude, but I doubt anyone will stumble upon this blog in particular and read anything on it. I'd really like to have a famous and prestigious blog, but that highly unlikely. With that said, enjoy.
